"Z" to the "ion", The Grand C, and Hoodoo Voodoo

Off from Vegas to the Zion and then Grand Canyon.  Whoop!!

We is gonna hike up the biggest elevation in the park Angel's Landing, then afterwards, the roughin' toughin'est river hike down the Narrows

Up the path we go.  Over 5000 ft in elevation gain in a 1.5 mile hike.

We scared some other hikers from this cave next to the hiking path.  They vowed to pass on the tradition to the next group of hikers.

Had to hike across this very narrow rock feature to get to the peak.  No railings here and a 4000 ft drop on either side of you.  This part was startling

Looking back on the narrow path, all my crying as Melissa forced me across wasn't worth it.  The threat was all psychological.  It was rather easy to tread across.

It was hot by the time we got to the top.  65 degrees when we started the day, 103 degrees by 1pm.

We made it to the Grand Canyon and I flew in the breeze.  This is a view from the North Rim of the canyon at Cape Royal

Fish Eye of Melissa hiking back to the car to go do some star gazing before we left Bryce Canyon the next day.  These were some of the clearest night skies in the country.
